The Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) baseball trounced the visiting Bordentown Scotties (Bordentown, NJ), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Chiefs now own a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lenape for a Olympic - American challenge on Monday, May 5. Cherokee will clash with a Indians team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 7-9.

With the defeat, Bordentown drops to 11-7 on the year. The Scotties host Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Hamilton won 15-7 in their recent league challenge against Ewing (Trenton, NJ)
