Central Knights (Providence, RI) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 8-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Central moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to battle the Titans in a Division 2 match on Monday, May 5. The Titans come into the match with a record of 3-12. Toll Gate won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI)

The Thunderbolts now possess a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Hope for a Division 1 match on Tuesday, May 6. Cranston East will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 2-12.
