In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Covenant Christian Warriors baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Perry Meridian Falcons.

The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN). The Hornets go into the Indiana Crossroads game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Beech Grove was overwhelmed by Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN), 7-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Falcons play the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) in a Mid-State game, on Tuesday, May 6. Perry Meridian will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Quakers go into the game with a 9-7 record after their 6-2 league win over Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN).
