The Northview Knights baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats to 4 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.

The Knights now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sullivan for a Western Indiana test on Tuesday, May 6. Northview will clash with a Golden Arrows team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN). The Golden Arrows record now stands at 13-2.

With the defeat, Evansville Mater Dei drops to 10-3 on the year. The Wildcats host South Knox (Vincennes, IN) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, May 5.
