The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) and the host Petaluma Trojans (Petaluma, CA), saw Redwood's baseball team get by Petaluma by a tally of 4-3.

The Giants (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Branson (Ross, CA). The Bulls enter the Marin County battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Branson was tipped by Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 8-7, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) in a Vine Valley battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Petaluma will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 5-17 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Novato (Novato, CA).
