Illinois High School Baseball - Princeton loses to Putnam County
May 3, 2025: Princeton, IL 61356 The Princeton Tigers baseball squad (Princeton, IL), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL)
With the triumph, Putnam County moves its record to 16-7 on the season. The Panthers host St. Bede (Peru, IL) to confront the Bruins in a Tri-County contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Bruins come into the contest with a record of 17-4. St. Bede won 14-4 in their recent league contest against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL)
The Tigers now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hall for a Three Rivers contest on Monday, May 5. Princeton will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 13-10.
