May 3, 2025: Avon, OH 44011 Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bard Early College Raptors (Cleveland, OH), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Avon improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Eagles host Mayfield (Mayfield, OH) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 15-3. Mayfield lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH)
The Raptors now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brecksville-Broadview Heights for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 3. Bard Early College will battle a Bees team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Bees record now stands at 2-11.
