May 3, 2025: Chicago, IL 60618 Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lane Tech improves its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Champions travel to Taft (Chicago, IL) to meet the Eagles in a Chicago Public Gold challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 20-5. Taft lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL)
Next, the Warriors meet the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a Southwest Suburban test, on Thursday, May 8. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to advance on its 16-14 season record. The Porters go into the test with a 13-15 record after their 2-0 league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
