Illinois High School Soccer - Wheaton Academy nudged by Berwyn/Cicero Morton
May 3, 2025: Cicero, IL 60804 Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Berwyn/Cicero Morton advances its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a West Suburban - Gold test on Tuesday, May 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-7. Leyden 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
The Warriors now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Timothy Christian for a Chicagoland Christian test on Tuesday, May 6. Wheaton Academy will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Argo (Summit, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.
