In Saturday's non-league test, the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN), by a tally of 22-5.

Next, the Wildcats meet the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 21. Hanover Central will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.

The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Lakeshore prevailed over Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI), 16-1, in a non-league test.
