Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Staples overwhelms Bishop Guertin
May 3, 2025: Westport, CT 06880 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Staples Wreckers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-7 triumph over the Bishop Guertin Cardinals.
The Wreckers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Falcons go into the Fairfield County contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Ludlowe was overwhelmed by Greenwich (Greenwich, CT), 9-8, in a league contest.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Salem Blue Devils (Salem, NH) in a Division I contest, on Monday, May 5. Bishop Guertin will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 7-6 league loss to Nashua South (Nashua, NH).
