With the victory, East Grand Rapids advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Haslett/Williamston (Haslett, MI) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Wolves now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Hills Eastern for a Division 2 District 5 battle on Tuesday, May 6. Okemos will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 9-2.
