Iowa High School Soccer - Wahlert knocks off Columbus
May 3, 2025: Dubuque, IA 52001 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Wahlert Golden Eagles soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Columbus Sailors.
The Golden Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, West Burlington prevailed over Highland (Riverside, IA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Sailors play the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 3. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
