May 3, 2025: Dubuque, IA 52001 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA) and the visiting Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), saw Wahlert's soccer squad triumph over Don Bosco by a count of 8-0.
The Golden Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, West Burlington ran past Highland (Riverside, IA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Dons confront the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. Don Bosco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
