Michigan High School Softball - Alpena bounces Negaunee
May 3, 2025: Alpena, MI 49707 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) and the visiting Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI), observed Alpena's softball team get by Negaunee by a tally of 5-0.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bellaire (Bellaire, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-0 record. In their last bout, Bellaire tipped Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI), 10-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Miners clash with the Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. Negaunee will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 12-5 league win over Melvindale (Melvindale, MI).
