With the triumph, Avon improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD) to face the Raiders in a Class B contest on Saturday, May 3. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 7-3. Gayville-Volin lost 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD)
The Titans now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Bon Homme for a Class B contest on Thursday, May 8. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-3.
