New Jersey High School Softball - Livingston bounces Payne Tech
May 3, 2025: Newark, NJ 07107 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Livingston Lancers softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Payne Tech Lions.
The Lancers (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Panthers come into the SEC - American match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Cedar Grove notched a victory over Belleville (Belleville, NJ), 15-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Lions confront the West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 5. Payne Tech will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Mountaineers come into the match with a 11-5 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ).
