May 3, 2025: Belmar, NJ 07719 St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ), 8-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Rose improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Purple Roses host Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ) to play the Braves in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 6. The Braves enter the game with a record of 9-7. Manalapan lost 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ)
The Bucs now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a non-league game on Monday, May 5. Red Bank Regional will play a Lions squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 10-2.
