Arcata Tigers (Arcata, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Chico Panthers (Chico, CA), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Arcata upgrades its record to 25-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Central Catholic (Modesto, CA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, June 1. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 22-8. Central Catholic won 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Colusa (Colusa, CA)

With the defeat, Chico drops to 18-8 on the campaign.
