Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lakeland upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to New Kent (New Kent, VA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, June 1. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 17-5. New Kent won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA)

With the defeat, Tabb falls to 9-12 on the season.
