Iowa High School Baseball - Eagle Grove loses to Algona
May 30, 2024: Algona, IA 50511 The Algona Bulldogs crushed the visiting Eagle Grove Eagles baseball team by a count of 25-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hampton-Dumont/CAL for a North Central bout on Friday, May 31. Algona will face a team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA). The record now stands at 1-6.
Next, the Eagles face the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA) in a Top of Iowa - West bout, on Monday, June 3. Eagle Grove will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA).
