May 30, 2024: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 The Belle Plaine Plainsmen baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting BCLUW Comets to 2 in the Plainsmen non-league victory on Thursday.
The Plainsmen (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA). The Hawks go into the South Iowa Cedar match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Lynnville-Sully edged Baxter (Baxter, IA), 13-3, in a non-league match.
The Comets (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA). The Royals go into the Iowa Star - South match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Colo-NESCO edged GMG (Garwin, IA), 10-8, in a non-league match.
