Connecticut High School Baseball - Torrington nips New London
May 31, 2022: New London, CT 06320 Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), 9-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Torrington upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Raiders host Middletown (Middletown, CT) to battle the Blue Dragons in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 1. The Blue Dragons come into the test with a record of 8-12. Middletown won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Platt (Meriden, CT)
With the defeat, New London falls to 10-11 on the season.
