May 31, 2024: Cedar Rapids, IA 52411 The Xavier Saints routed the visiting Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Saints (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Rams go into the Mississippi Valley - Mississippi battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Dubuque Senior topped Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 1. Decorah-North Winneshiek will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 8-1.
