Iowa High School Softball - Greene County drops to Kuemper
May 31, 2025: Carroll, IA 51401 Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), 21-11 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Kuemper improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to face the Cardinals in a Hawkeye 10 game on Monday, June 2. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 3-2. Clarinda won 14-2 in their recent non-league game against Earlham (Earlham, IA)
The Rams now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Roland-Story for a Heart of Iowa game on Monday, June 2. Greene County will face a Norsemen squad coming off a 10-1 league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 2-1.
