Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 17-3 in a league battle.

The Spartans now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 5. Salem will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 23-2 non-league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-0.

In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Hidden Valley Titans (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge battle, on Monday, May 9. Blacksburg will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA).
