Washington High School Softball - Glacier Peak nudges Mariner
May 4, 2022: Snohomish, WA 98296 Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mariner Marauders (Everett, WA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kamiak for a 4A Wesco challenge on Friday, May 6. Glacier Peak will face a Knights squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Knights record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Mariner falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA) to face the Timberwolves in a 4A Wesco challenge on Friday, May 6. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 16-1. Jackson lost 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA)
