Minnesota High School Softball - Kelley bounces Northeast Range
May 4, 2022: Silver Bay, MN 55614 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Kelley Mariners (Silver Bay, MN) and the visiting Northeast Range Knights (Babbitt, MN), witnessed Kelley's softball squad prevail over Northeast Range by a count of 24-0.
The Mariners now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Iron-Buhl for a non-league match on Thursday, May 5. Kelley will face a Rangers squad coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Nashwauk-Keewatin (Nashwauk, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Northeast Range moves to 2-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN) to face the Bluestreaks in a Freelance match on Tuesday, May 10. The Bluestreaks go into the match with a record of 0-1.
