The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host East Chicago Central Cardinals to 3 in the Fighting Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Fighting Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their match against Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN). The Warriors go into the Greater Southshore match with a 2-11 record. In their last match, Calumet New Tech ran past Gary West Side (Gary, IN), 18-13, in a non-league match.
