May 4, 2023: Plantation, FL 33317 The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks topped the host South Plantation Paladins volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mavericks now have a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Bay for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. Archbishop McCarthy will confront a Lightning team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Flanagan (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Lightning record now stands at 20-2.
The Paladins (11-5) will now prepare for their test against South Broward (Hollywood, FL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, South Broward gained a win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
