Illinois High School Soccer - Normal University knocks off Bloomington
May 4, 2023: Normal, IL 61761 Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Purple Raiders now have a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympia for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. Bloomington will confront a Spartans team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 4-14.
