Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Matignon Warriors (Cambridge, MA), 5-4 in a league battle.

The Spartans now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Bedford for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 6.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals (Brockton, MA) in a Catholic Central battle, on Friday, May 5. Matignon will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record.
