The Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) softball routed the host Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA), 12-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against William Tennent (Warminster, PA). The Panthers go into the Suburban One - Liberty bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, William Tennent toppled Abington (Abington, PA), 6-3, in a league bout.

The Galloping Ghosts now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh for a Suburban One - Liberty bout on Friday, May 5.
