New York High School Baseball - Central Valley Academy gets by Marcellus
May 4, 2024: Ilion, NY 13357 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY) and the visiting Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY), saw Central Valley Academy's baseball squad beat Marcellus by a margin of 4-2.
Coming up next, the Thunder play the Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley battle, on Monday, May 6. Central Valley Academy will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Black Knights enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 8-3 non-league win over South Jefferson (Adams, NY).
The Mustangs now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Grimes for a Section 3 Liberty 2 battle on Monday, May 6. Marcellus will play a Cobras squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY). The Cobras record now stands at 2-11.
