May 4, 2024: New London, CT 06320 The Griswold Wolverines crushed the host New London Whalers baseball team by a tally of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now hold a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Division III bout on Tuesday, May 7. Griswold will face a Bobcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-5.
Next, the Whalers face the Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 6. New London will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Whippets enter the bout with a 2-10 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT).
