May 4, 2024: Van Buren, OH 45889 Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Van Buren upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Black Knights host Bath (Lima, OH) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, May 6. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 11-11. Bath won 12-5 in their recent non-league test against Miller City (Miller City, OH)
With the defeat, Springfield falls to 7-12 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to battle the Bobcats in a Northern Lakes- Cardinal test on Monday, May 6. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 12-10. Bowling Green won 11-9 in their recent non-league test against Rossford (Rossford, OH)
