Illinois High School Soccer - Morton knocks off Normal West
May 4, 2024: Morton, IL 61550 Morton Potters (Morton, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Potters confront the Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Morton will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Normal University (Normal, IL).
The Wildcats now have a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danville for a Big Twelve challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Normal West will confront a Vikings team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-15.
