Ohio High School Lacrosse - Cathedral can't get by St. Francis DeSales
May 4, 2024: Columbus, OH 43224 In Saturday's non-league test, the host St. Francis DeSales Stallions lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Cathedral Fighting Irish.
The Stallions now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olentangy for a non-league test on Monday, May 6. St. Francis DeSales will face a Braves squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH). The Braves record now stands at 7-5.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish face the South Bend St. Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN) in a ICC test, on Tuesday, May 7. Cathedral will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 0-9 record after their 22-4 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL).
