High School Lacrosse - Newark Charter School drops to Varsity Opponent

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Varsity Opponent lacrosse squad scored a tight 16-9 victory over the Newark Charter School Patriots.

The now have a 26-44 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bentonville for a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. Varsity Opponent will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 8. Newark Charter School will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Ravens come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 21-5 league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).
