May 4, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06605 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) softball team overwhelmed the host Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), by a margin of 21-1.
With the triumph, Kolbe-Cathedral moves its record to 4-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT) to play the Bobcats in a Southwest - Colonial contest on Monday, May 6. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 10-3. Brookfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT)
