Minnesota High School Softball - Edina bounces Zumbrota-Mazeppa
May 4, 2024: Zumbrota, MN 55992 Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN), 20-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hermantown for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Edina will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Proctor (Proctor, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Zumbrota-Mazeppa falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Andover (Andover, MN) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4.
