Illinois High School Softball - Marion bounces Tuscola
May 4, 2024: Tuscola, IL 61953 Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 26-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carmi-White County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Marion will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-5.
With the loss, Tuscola falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 24-6. St. Joseph-Ogden won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, IL)
