May 4, 2024: York, ME 03909 The Morse Shipbuilders softball team (Bath, ME), was routed 11-1 in Saturday's league test with the host York Wildcats (York, ME)
Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) in a Class B South test, on Monday, May 6. York will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Clippers come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME).
The Shipbuilders (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Eagles come into the Class B South test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Lincoln Academy was routed by Freeport (Freeport, ME), 6-2, in a league test.
