Minnesota High School Softball - Windom bounces New Ulm Cathedral
May 4, 2024: New Ulm, MN 56073 Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Luverne for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Windom will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, New Ulm Cathedral falls to 13-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN) to face the Mustangs in a Tomahawk challenge on Monday, May 6. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Springfield (Springfield, MN)
