New Jersey High School Softball - Ridgewood bounces River Dell
May 4, 2024: Ridgewood, NJ 07450 Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting River Dell Golden Hawks (Oradell, NJ), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Maroons now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ramapo for a Big North - Freedom challenge on Monday, May 6. Ridgewood will face a Raiders squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 17-4.
With the loss, River Dell falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Golden hawks host Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ) to face the Angels in a Big North - United challenge on Monday, May 6. The Angels enter the challenge with a record of 7-10. Academy of the Holy Angels lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ)
