Virginia High School Baseball - Lake Braddock edges McLean
May 4, 2026: Burke, VA 22015 The Lake Braddock Bruins baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting McLean Highlanders to 1 in the Bruins non-league win on Monday.
The Bruins now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South County for a Patriot test on Tuesday, May 5. Lake Braddock will play a The Stallion team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The The Stallion record now stands at 6-10.
With the defeat, McLean drops to 11-4 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Heritage (Leesburg, VA) to play the Pride in a non-league test on Friday, May 8. The Pride go into the test with a record of 9-6. Heritage lost 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA)
