The Solon Comets softball squad (Solon, OH), was routed 10-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Perry Pirates (Perry, OH)

With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Pirates host North (Eastlake, OH) to face the Rangers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 6. The Rangers enter the contest with a record of 7-7. North lost 5-3 in their recent league contest against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)

The Comets now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Nordonia for a Suburban - National contest on Tuesday, May 5. Solon will face a Knights squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Knights record now stands at 6-12.
