Michigan High School Baseball - Richmond gets by Cardinal Mooney Catholic
May 5, 2022: Richmond, MI 48062 Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cardinal Mooney Catholic Cardinals (Marine City, MI), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Blue Devils host Yale (Yale, MI) to battle the Bulldogs in a Blue Water Area test on Monday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-1.
With the defeat, Cardinal Mooney Catholic falls to 6-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI) to battle the Gryphons in a Catholic C-D C test on Saturday, May 7. The Gryphons come into the test with a record of 3-9. Greenhills lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI)
