Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) and the visiting Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA), saw Taconic's baseball squad knock off Monument Mountain by a count of 9-0.

Coming up next, the Braves play the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 7. Taconic will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to West Springfield (West Springfield, MA).
