New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Montgomery can't get by Somerville
May 5, 2022: Somerville, NJ 08876 In Thursday's league test, the host Somerville Pioneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Montgomery Cougars.
The Pioneers now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, May 7. Somerville will face a Red Devil squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ). The Red Devil record now stands at 8-4.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan test, on Thursday, May 12. Montgomery will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Terriers come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to Millburn (Millburn, NJ).
